MeveraHub Save my spot

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions we get most.

Do I need a restaurant or a storefront?

No. At home, on delivery, at the market, at an event or at the counter: it works wherever you cook and sell.

I’m not registered for the taxes. Do I need this?

You still have to give bills that follow the rules. The Starter plan does that; you switch to the MEV-WEB plan when you register.

100% online receipts, is that allowed?

Yes, if the customer agrees in advance to receive their bill by email or as a PDF, under Revenu Québec’s rules. Printing on request.

What do I need?

A Windows or Linux computer (macOS coming soon), internet most of the time and your current payment terminal.

Does MeveraHub process payments?

No. MeveraHub is a point of sale, not a payment processor. You take payment with your own terminal or payment provider; your products, the sale and the bill stay in MeveraHub. Integrations with the most common payment providers are coming soon.

What if the internet drops in the middle of an event?

You keep selling. Everything is sent to MEV-WEB as soon as the connection returns.

Caterers: deposits and contracts?

Yes: quote, contract, deposit, then final bill. Per-person packages too, for example $65 × 30 people.

What happens if I pause or stop paying?

Your data stays yours. You can export it, even after a pause or a cancellation.

I’m only open part of the year. Is the yearly plan worth it?

Yes. The seasonal pause is free, up to 6 months a year. On the yearly plan, paused months are added to the end of your year.

Is the app in English?

Not yet. The app’s interface is in French; English is coming soon. This website and our email replies are in English.
